- Classification of Business (if: Micro, SMEs or Large Enterprise)
- At least one (1) contact information per business (Contact Person, Contact Number/Email Address)

Dear KRIZZTIN GONZALES,
We refer to your letter of Sep 29, 2022 10:58:53 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for List of Registered Businesses in Quezon City.
Please be informed that "registered business" is different from "registered Business Name". All we can provide is the number of registered Business Names for sole proprietorship.
Also, DTI Business Name registration is not a permit or license to engage in any type of business since the permit to operate is issued by the Business Permit and Licensing Office of the concerned LGU.
Kindly note, too, that we cannot identify if a business name is classified as small, medium or large business due to reason that we don't require the capitalization in the registration of business name.
Thus, if you are looking for the actual number and details of operating businesses, you may inquire with the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the concerned LGU since they are the ones who issue a business permit to operate.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Should you want to proceed with your request for the provision of information on "business names" only, please let us know.

Your right to request a review

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
