May I know what the overall retention period is done by PAO, and if possible, PAO Naga? How long does PAO and PAO Naga keep documents related to cases from 1997 to 1998 according to PAO’s document management system and processes? Are the case documents from 1997 to 1998 in PAO Naga already disposed?

I refer to my letter of Apr 09, 2022 09:13:24 PM; about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for What is the retention period of cases and related docus in your office?

Our response to your request is due on Apr 29, 2022 09:13:24 PM. Unfortunately, it is taking longer than expected to deal with your request because we are still looking for the memorandum on file retention considering that the period you are asking for is around 24 years ago.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Given the considerable length of time, more or less 25 years to be precise, the Office can no longer locate the record of the information you are requesting.
