October 21, 2020 Dear Lawrence, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 21, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Result of Covid 19 swab test OFW. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance your Philippine Coast Guard does not hold the results anymore particularly since the Philippine Red Cross ceased the conduct of testing to Philhealth-funded Covid 19 Testing last October 14, 2020. Since then, your Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) only collects swab samples and sends it out to 12 identified government laboratories for testing. Unlike before, the results now are released not by PCG but by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), instead. You may wish to contact BOQ thru their email address at boq.qc1@gmail.com or thru their trunk line at 5318-7500, Globe number at 0926 629 0723, Smart number at 0961 899 0779, and TNT number at 0951 210 8105. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Rest assured that your PCG is working on the double to send out all collected samples and manual Case Investigation Forms (CIF) for immediate testing. However, we ask for more patience from your end since we are now back to Manual process. Thank you for your understanding. God bless! Respectfully, PCG FOI Officer
