Hello PCG! Based on Rule 3 of IRR of the Philippine Coast Guard Law of 2009 (RA 9993), the PCG shall "issue and enforce rules and regulations for the promotion of safety of life and property at sea on all maritime-related activities." Under the same Rule, maritime-related activities include "designation of sea lanes, navigable routes". In this regard, may I request for information if the PCG has existing rules and regulations or guidelines in the designation of sea lanes and navigable routes. If there is such rules/regulations, I would like to respectfully request for a copy thereof. Thanks!
