We are a non-stock, non-profit organization in the process of registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

We are developing a database of quad media practitioners all over the country to send our regular press advisories and press statements about our programs and projects.

May we request these directories; if available from the Philippine Information Agency (PIA)?

Dear Roy Cabonegro,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 15, 2023 01:24:55 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for a Directory of Quadmedia in each of the 81 provinces nationwide to be used for your sending of press releases.

Please be informed that while we have a directory of media outlets, we are unable to send it to you directly and electronically due to the provisions of the data privacy act. We have, however, an Agency media factbook in hardbound form containing contact information of various media outlets which are readily available on their websites. You are welcome to visit our office at the PIA Building, Visayas Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City to view and take note of the details you wish to acquire.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to PIA Director-General Jose Torres and send it to liberty.aragones@pia.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
