Dear Sir:

We are students of juris doctors currently taking up land titles and deeds. In one of our discussion, the case of FRANCISCO I. CHAVEZ v. PUBLIC ESTATES AUTHORITY and AMARI COASTAL BAY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, G. R. No. 133250 - May 6, 2003 was taken up.

During the course of our discussion, the circumstance of SM Mall of Asia was highlighted. We wanted to know if the reclaimed land to which the SM Mall of Asia sits on is of public domain. If yes, is it leased?
