Greetings!
In line with my previous request with a tracking number of #MLWD-859567166316 titled "Water supply and distribution in Barangay San Francisco, Lipa, Batangas", I would like ask for further information.
The project site has an estimated Total Average Daily Demand (ADD) of 1716.29 m3/day or CMD. Including the Fire Reserve (ADD*20%) and Non Revenue Water (ADD*15%), the Total Daily Demand is 2316.99 m3/day or CMD. I would like to ask if the existing water utilities as shown in the water distribution layout drawing can provide for this water demand should the development commence.

The point of interest in the water distribution layout drawing is PS#60 OHT, PS#432 BST and the 2" dia. uPVC pipe as it is the nearest and possible tapping point of the project site.
I would like to know if the estimated demand can be provided by these existing utilities.
If the MLWD wont be able to provide for the estimated demand, are they capable of developing more utilities to provide for the project site?

Your FOI request is approved.Below are the listed information you requested.
1. I would like to ask if the existing utilities of MLWD can provide for this possible future demand.
The existing water facilities of MLWD at your project area in Brgy. San Francisco, LIpa City is only enough
to supply our existing customers, thus, it can't cater to your subdivision's future water demand.
2. MLWD capable of developing additional utilities to cater the demand of the project site?
The developer of the subdivision will be the one who will develop water utilities to cater the
water household demand of your subdivision.
3. it is the nearest and possible tapping point of the project site.
Unfortunately, we do not have a nearby mainline near your property area. Our existing mainline is
around 300 meters from your proposed subd area. Furthermore, we do not allow tapping to our existing
mainline if our existing customer at the area will suffer due to low pressure. In this regards, it is better
for you to first drill a production well that can be used during the construction phase of your project.
