The Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples Represented by Jose Romel Agustin Murio aka Datu Kasaligan filed a case against all national government agencies and all LGUs for alleged violations of the IPRA Law. The case is pending before Branch 237 of Makati City.

Based on initial information and research, there are no approved ancestral domains in Region 8. If there really is none, we would like to Request a Certification to that matter.

Note: Time period is just a placeholder since I am not aware when this list was finalized.

Please be informed that your request has already been endorsed to the Ancestral Domains Office for reply. However, considering that we are still under a General Community Quarantine (GCQ Alert Level 1) and we are operating on a strict skeletal workforce due to COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to inform you that it may take longer than expected to respond your request.
