Thank you for your request dated Mar 24, 2023 11:08:01 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for the approved seal of the Province of Bataan.

Response to Request

As requested, attached herewith is the seal of the said province as published in the book Symbols of the State (1998) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government. Please take note that prior to the signing into law of Republic Act No. 8491 or the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines in 1998, the registration of provincial seals was done by the DILG. Hence, the seal was recorded with them instead of the NHCP's National Registry of Seals and Heraldic Items.
