Hi!

I previously made this request more than 2 years ago, but I want to make a request again on the PHC design of the 1950 seal of Cagayan de Oro signed by Galo B. Ocampo as head of the PHC, kept or recorded within the time period (1950-1960). This will be used for updating my research and position paper on the restoration of the 1950 seal of CDO as the city's official seal.

(I was previously connected to City Museum of CDO until 12/30/2022)

You asked for 1950 Seal of Cagayan de Oro City (CDO).

Response to Request

Upon checking our National Registry of Heraldic Items and Devices, we wish to inform, you that the 1950 seal of CDO was not registered with the NHCP. Our files about CDO only contain a brief profile of the city. At any rate, the earliest recording of the seal is found in the 1975 book Symbols of the State which may be accessed through the Internet Archive: https://rb.gy/js4ne
