Your Request

You asked for the following:

1. List of business/establishment names with a Certificate of Authority exempting them from minimum wage coverage under Republic Act No. 9178 in the Municipality of Balatan.

2. List of business/establishment names exempt from minimum wage coverage under NWPC Guidelines No. 03 Series of 2020 in the Municipality of Balatan.

Response to Request

1.  The granting of a Certificate of Authority pursuant to Republic Act No. 9178 is under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Negosyo Centers at the city or the municipal level.

2. The Municipality of Balatan falls under the jurisdiction of RTWPB-V. However, per information gathered from their secretariat, they have not received any application for exemption from minimum wage from any business establishment in the concerned municipality.
