Your Request

You asked for Design Guidelines for training General public servants.

Response to Request

There is a Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 s. 2020 issued by the Civil Service Commission that requires all government agencies to establish their own safety and health program pursuant to Republic Act 11058 and its IRR DOLE Department Order 198-18 to promote safety and health awareness and capacitate the safety officers, OH personnel, members of the OSH committee, supervisors and workers in formulating OSH program and improve the working condition of their company/agency.
 
The OSHC and the accredited Safety Training Organizations (STOs) conducts Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for the designated safety officers in the public sector. For government agencies involved in construction and related activities, they may attend the Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training.
