Thank you for your request dated Jan 08, 2019 08:54:22 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for statistics showing the civil status of ofws.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [data on the number of OFW who are married, number of OFWs who experienced marital separation and number of left behind spouses of OFWs ].   However, you may wish to contact Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and/or Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)  at respectively, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal at www.poea.gov.ph and www. psa.gov.ph.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J.
