Hi OWWA,

Im JEAN BENGSON, 18years of age asking for scholarship this coming school opening 2023. As an incoming first collge i would like to ask for scholarship of this institution. Sa hirap ng buhay ngayun po gusto ko sana mka pag tapos ng pag-aaral,bago lang namatay yung mama ko last april 27,2023 due to breast cancer .may kapatid po akong ofw sa bansang kuwait at kung papalarin nman po akong mkapasok sa scholar niyo i would give my best para isa po ako sa mga studyante na mapalad na makapagtapos dahil sa inyung projekto.

Thank you for your request dated Jun 07, 2023 03:24:31 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for a scholarship.

Ms. Bengson please visit the OWWA website: www.owwa.gov.ph and open the folder on education and scholarship.  Kindly familiarize yourself with the qualification requirements.  Please take note of the the deadline for submission as the scholarship for in-coming freshmen has ended.  Moreover, you have to know if your sibling is an active OWWA member and is single.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
