Bilang OFW po nais ko lang po itanong kung bakit kailangan I request ng mga agency llo yung mga agency pa TAIWAN na need I pa correct o petition to annotation ang middle name ng parents sa birth certificate ng aplikante (kung meron o walang initials, gusto ng agency BAGO I line UP For Interview ang apliknte na need buong middle na me annotation s birth certificate kahit me passport na at kahit nagamit na naka labas at balik n Ng bansa. Di po ba napaka laking abala neto sa mga kagaya kong OFW? Nawa po sa tulong ng FOI masagot ang aking katanungang ito. Slamat po.

Dear Ms. HERMINILDA ONG,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Feb 16, 2023 10:52:03 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for birth certificate annotations to be used for employment to Taiwan.
Ms. Ong you have to inquire from your recruitment agency why the need for an annotated Birth Certificate. We suppose this is a requirement of the receiving/host country (TAIWAN).
The passport and the Birth Certificate are distinct and different documents from each other. We further suggest you go to the Phil. Statistics Authority to secure the Birth Certificate of your parents so you can show proof/establish relationship of paternity/maternity to satisfy the requirements of the recruitment agency.
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
