Dear Ms. Stephanie Lopez,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 30, 2023 04:27:40 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for data on the number of OFWs in Tarlac and Pampanga as part of your marketing research.

Ms. Lopez your request is incomplete.   You did not state the the year of the data needed.

Moreover, be correctly informed that it is the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) that collects data of the OFWs and statistically processed by the Phil. Statistics Authority.   Review the website of POEA and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW)'s Transparency Seal for an orientation of the data they keep.

Also, it is suggested to get the data information of OFWs including destination and occupation from the City/Provincial Planning Office.  The Planning Office regularly submit data on OFW households.

As a final note, do a lot of reading about migration and the laws (e.g. Migrant Workers Act, OWWA Act, Act Creating the DMW).  You can easily "google it.  So you and your group members are correctly informed of the different government agencies under the Executive Branch mandated to do specific functions to assist and monitor the OFWs.
