Dear Michelle Garcia,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 23, 2023 10:30:03 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch to clear OFW from POEA's watchlist.

Magandang buhay Ms. Garcia.

Ang paglagay ng pangalan ng isang OFW sa POEA watchlist ay may nakaakibat na kaso o complaint from the employer/Foreign Placement Agency/Philippine Recruitment Agency/country of employment wherein immigration and labor cases are filed against the/by the. OFW.

Hence, we strongly advise that you go directly to the POEA Adjudication Office at for clearance.  It would be better if you bring pertinent documents that will help you clear your name (e.g. passport and birth certificate and court decisions and agreement for amicable solution issued by POLO at the Phil. Embassy)

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
