Your Request

You asked for REQUEST IMPORT REGULATION FOR THE IMPORTATION OF INDUSTRIAL UAV (DRONE).

Response to Request

Per the Airworthiness Department, the CAAP does not have regulations restricting the importation of UAVs or drones, nor does it issue an import permit. However, the CAAP, through the Airworthiness Department, may issue a certificate of no objection when requested by the importer to clear an import requirement from the Bureau of Customs.

Guidance on importing an aeronautical product is provided under CAAP Memorandum Circular Number 18-12, a copy of which is attached. Operating a UAV or drone is governed by PCAR Part 11, a copy of which can be downloaded at this link:

Your right to request a review
