1. The number of BPO workers by Region
2. The number of BPO workers by Classification (e.g. call center agents, General and Administrative)
2. The average salary in the BPO sector

Your Request

You asked for The number of BPO workers by Region.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of the results of January 2020 Labor Force Survey (LFS) conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). It may be noted that the number of employed persons is disaggregated by major industry group. The data for BPO sector is lumped into the Administrative and Support Service Activities sector. You may coordinated your request to PSA. For more information, please visit www.psa.gov.ph.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III at electronic mail address osec@dole.gov.ph.
