We are fourth year students from the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Manila enrolled in Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Service program major in Diplomacy and International Trade. We are conducting a research entitled “Expenditures in Research and Development and its Role in Domestic and Foreign Trade: The Case of the Philippines”. 
This study is an attempt to determine the experience of R&D investment of the Philippines and the factors that affect improvement of the manufacturing system needed for the continued success of innovation towards achieving industry 4.0.
