Dear Julius Arvin Cantiga,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 17, 2019 06:20:58 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Revenue of DOTr from P2P Buses Operations and Memorandum of Agreements with their partner companies.

1) The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has no revenue in the Point-to-Point (P2P) bus operations. These P2Ps are privately operated. DOTr only regulates the franchise application for the routes and the operations of the P2P bus services.

2) DOTr has no memorandum of agreement with any P2P bus companies. As mentioned previously, the department only regulates the P2P bus services and plans its routes.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,

DOTR-DM DOTR
