Hi! I am humbly asking for the following data:

(a) list of accredited rehabilitation centers for OSEC (online sexual exploitation of children) victims in the National Capital Region)

(b) statistical data for the number of OSEC victims per rehabilitation centers in the National Capital region

(c) statistical data for the number of OSEC victims in the National Capital Region

(d) Design and consideration in constructing and site selecting for an OSEC rehabilitation center

The reason behind this request is for my thesis studies and research development as an architecture student.

Response to your request

We shall partially grant your request and we shall refer your request with respect to this matter to the proper DSWD office. DSWD has limited information of exploited children 
staying in residential care facilities run by DSWD.

It is the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that may have the data you require. Under Republic Act 10625 (the “Philippine Statistical Act of 2013”), the PSA is the government agency responsible for preparing and conducting periodic censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries, business, industry and other sectors of the economy. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PSA by submitting a request to the PSA via this portal. You may also contact the PSA by telephone at 462-6600 locals 839, 833 and 834 or via email at info@psa.gov.ph.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ERWIN T. TULFO at DSWD-Central Office, IBP Road Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
