Clarification on SLCC Requirement Based on Sec 23.4.1.3 of RA9184 2016

Requested from GPPB by C. Ng at 10:05 AM on Dec 10, 2020.
Purpose: Bidding
Date of Coverage: 12/10/2020 - 12/10/2020
Tracking no: #GPPB-081812302229

Ng 10:05 AM, Dec 10, 2020

Hi!

Good day! I would like to clarify the interpretation for the SLCC requirement based on Sec 23.4.1.3 of RA9184 2016. A bid states that bidders should have completed, within 10 years from the date of submission and receipts of bids, a contract similar to the project. Does a project need to be finished 1 year before bidding date for it to meet the SLCC requirement? Can any project meeting the 50% of ABC adjusted to PSA CPI if necessary, be qualified for the SLCC requirement so as long as it has been completed prior to bidding date?

Thank You!
