Ako si Ma. Cristina Gonzales, nakakuha ng acquired asset sa Pagibig na matatagpuan sa Liro Homes, Tanay Rizal.

Bago ko ito kinuha ay sinunod ko ang payo ng Pagibig na kailangan muna personal na makita ang property bago i-avail. Sa kasamaang palad, noong naaprubahan na ang aking aplikasyon sa Pagibig ay saka naman may umangkin sa nasabing lupa at binakuran ito. Sinubukan ko pumunta sa barangay at sa HOA upang magpatulong ngunit pareho sila ng sinasabi na sa Pagibig daw ako magtanong.

Nawa'y matulungan nyo ako. Mahirap lang po ako at itong maliit na investment lang ang inaasahan ko. Salamat po

Dear MS. MA CRISTINA R. GONZALES,

This refers to your eFOI request received on 18 October 2022 sent via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you sought the assistance of the Fund regarding an acquired asset located in Liro Homes, Tanay Rizal which you claimed to have purchased from the Fund. You mentioned that you were advised to personally inspect the property. However, you alleged that upon the grant of your application, you learned that the property was being claimed by a third party and was already fenced.

Kindly be informed that Section 3 of Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 (Executive Order) grants every Filipino citizen the right to access information, official records, public records and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development. 

In accordance with the aforementioned Executive Order, the Pag-IBIG Fund People’s Freedom of Information Manual (Manual) also states that “Information for Disclosure” includes: information promoting the awareness and understanding of policies, programs, activities, rules or regulations affecting the public, government agencies, and the community and economy (Section 2 of the Manual). 

Considering that you did not request for any information, official records, public records and documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development, we are constrained to deny your request.
