Hello! 

I am Pia Ranada, a reporter from Rappler. I am requesting for the cost of each of President Rodrigo Duterte's foreign trips to Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, China, Peru, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, and Singapore. I am requesting for the document to list down all expenses incurred during the trips. The costing should also include what the Philippine government spent on the official delegation that went with the President during the trips.

Our response to your request is due on Jan 09, 2017 10:13:54 AM. Unfortunately, it is taking longer than expected to deal with your request because we had to ask the said information from the Office of the President. We already forwarded your request and we expect a response within January 2017.

Dear Ms Ranada,

Thank you for your request for information on: 1) the cost of each of the president's foreign trips, including Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, China, Peru, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia and Singapore; and 2) the list of all expenses, including costing of the official delegation.

PCOO tried to locate the requested information and respond to your request on time. However, the requested information is not in our custody or any of PCOO’s attached agencies or offices. Hence, we have to deny this FOI request.

The appropriate office that can provide you with the requested information is the Office of the President (OP). Unfortunately, the OP is not yet enrolled in the eFOI facility, and we cannot transfer the request.
