Dear Reynan Bolisay,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 06, 2017 12:20:08 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Freedom of Information Bill in Plenary of 17th Congress.

For latest copy of FOI Bills filed in 17th Congress, may we refer you to the websites of the House of Representatives (http://www.congress.gov.ph) and the Senate (http://www.senate.gov.ph). All pending bills are easily downloadable in the legislative information sections of their respective websites. By just typing-in the bill number or key words, you will be able to get information on the legislative status and history of these bills as well as the link to downloadable copies of the said measures.

Also, may we seek for you indulgence and understanding for our inability to reply to you query immediately and within the prescribed period. Please be informed that the PLLO designated receivers were not able to access the e-FOI portal due to technical and administrative problems in the past year of implementation of the said portal. It was only this month, through the assistance of the PCOO that the PLLO was able to address these difficulties and hence access the portal.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to PLLO Secretary Adelino B. Sitoy and mail at 2nd Floor, New Executive Building, Malacañang or email at osec@pllo.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,
Assistant Secretary Romulo Arugay
FOI Officer
