Dear FOI Officer,

The indigenous fruits and vegetables are locally-produced crops which are acceptable as food. It can either be native or introduced many years ago. Examples are buli, sampinit, and saluyot which are underutilized and less known in the country. 

Hope this clarifies the definition of IFV.
