Dear Ms. Elesterio,

              Thank you for your request dated November 3, 2022, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You requested data regarding the number of people that are vegetarian in Metro Manila from 2017-2022.

              The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD), one of the sectoral councils of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), is mandated to: (1) formulate policies, plans, programs, project, and strategies for health S&T development; (2) program and allocate government and external funds for research and development (R&D); (3) monitor R&D projects; and (4) generate external funds.

            While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, we regret that our office does not have the information you have requested. However, we referred your request to the Department of Science and Technology - Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI).
