Hi! I would like to request data on the following:

- TCGR for CY 2020 and 2021, with Fixed and Variable Costs unbundled
- What are covered under fixed and variable costs? Does this reflect refurbishment costs?
- How often (or in how many operating hours) are DPPs subjected to refurbishment? 
- Is there a specific case study on a 24-hr running DPP, with economic/financial study?

You asked for Operation and Maintenance - SPUG.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested, as follows:

Variable Cost (VC) – Php 8.9329/kWh (Fuel Cost)
Fixed Cost (FC) – Php 5.9918/kWh (Maintenance and other operating expenses)
CY 2020 TCGR (VC + FC) = Php 14.9247/kWh

For CY 2021 TCGR, the calculation is on-going. Regarding how often are DPPs subjected to refurbishment, the conduct of the same particularly on the maintenance activities of the units are based on the manufacturer’s recommendation.  Also, there is no existing/on-going specific case study on a 24-hour running DPP.
