Your Request
You asked for NCR Digital Elevation Data and various maps (GIS shape file).
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. Our Geology Division sent an email to you today, 2 September 2019 with details as follows:
"This is in relation to your letter received via FOI on 30 July 2019 and received by our office on 30 August 2019, regarding your request for:
1) DEM of NCR, and
2) Maps and figures used in the Oplan Metro Yakal Contingency Plan in editable format
We would like to inform you that the products mentioned are produced by the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA).
Our Institute provides all earthquake- and volcano-related hazard maps for the Philippines and these are already available and can be downloaded online via this LINK.
It already includes a *.kmz file for you to be able to display the maps on a Google Earth application. We may have information that you have already accessed these data before.
However, you also mentioned shapefiles of Active Faults, Liquefaction, and Earthquake-induced Landslide, and Fissures. We can provide the data to you, and should you be requesting for shapefiles of these hazards, please note that we have already sent you an automated email for processing. However, as stated in the form, we will be processing the request once we receive a signed Data User Agreement (DUA) attached in that email. You may send the said form back to us, and the data will be provided as soon as we receive and have it signed."
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for as information is with other government office and we need a signed DUA from your end to process your request.
