Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 21, 2020 08:56:35 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Hybrid Rice Varieties in the Philippines.

As to functional properties (physico-chemical characteristics) of hybrid rice varieties, we can provide you information through our website www.philrice.gov.ph. Please visit this and find Products, then click "Seeds". From that landing page, under the information about our fb accounts, you will find "Visit: Rice varieties and characteristics". Click this and you will have the Pinoy Knowledge Bank and get into the choices of the former Philippine Seed Board (PSB) now National Seed Industry Council (NSIC) approved varieties. You will find all the list of all varieties in different ecosystem. Please go to the varieties with H such as NSIC Rc 244H as it connotes hybrid, then go to grain quality tab.

As to what are those hybrid varieties being planted in Northern Mindanao to get the information above, please request data from the DA-RFO IX or provinces under this region so to be precise.
