Dear eFOI user,
Thank you for your request dated yesterday, made under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
You have requested the Design Guidelines for Orthopedic Hospital
Please be informed that we do not currently have dedicated manual or design guidelines specifically for Orthopedic Centers. However, you may refer to the Resource Stratified Framework (RSF) for Orthopedic Centers. This framework articulates the base facilities, catchment areas, services, infrastructure, equipment, human resources, and other components to be provided in health facilities in order to provide specialty care across the continuum of care. The RSF for Orthopedic Centers is provided in Annex E of the Department Order No. 2021-0001 Designation of Specialty Centers in Selected DOH Hospitals and its amendment. The RSF will serve as a planning guide to designated Specialty Centers to achieve their designated levels. You may access the said issuance through this link: https://bit.ly/DO20210001-SpecialtyCenters For further information, please visit the website of the Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau at www.hfsrb.doh.gov.ph. Here, you can access planning and design guidelines, licensing assessment tools, and sample floor plans. Kindly accomplish the FOI Request Feedback form at the link: https://bit.ly/DOHFOIFeedbackForm
