May 28, 2020 Dear Regine Soriano, This refers to your letter dated Feb 21, 2020 05:17:32 PM; requesting information about Indigenous Peoples and Tribes in Samar and Leyte Province, through Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for Indigenous Peoples in Mindanao, Executive Order No. 2, Series of 2016. We would like to apologize for not responding on time because our old office was gutted by fire. Unfortunately, the FOI application was not set-up immediately when we transferred to our new office. Please be informed that your request has already been endorsed to our concerned bureau. However, considering that we are on enhanced community quarantine and are Working From Home due to COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to inform you that it may take longer than expected to respond to your request.
