Hi PCGG! I would like to reiterate my request for a copy of the updated List/Report of Inventory done with the contents of Santo Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum. 1. A list or report of inventory of items within the sequestered property and its current state or status. 2. Inventory of items such as paintings, furnitures, and fixtures in the Museum. 3. As a regular visitor of the museum, I noticed that there are important paintings of Malang and Amorsolo that are no longer in display. This is based on my latest visit last month. Thank you!

Hello - Your request for information has been denied due to one of the exceptions stated in Memorandum Circular No. 89 "Updating the Inventory of Exceptions to the Right to Access of Information Under Executive Order No. 2, Series of 2016". This is the Information, documents or records known by reason of official capacity and are deemed as confidential, including those submitted or disclosed by entities to government agencies, tribunals, boards, or officers, in relation to the performance of their functions, or to inquiries or investigation conducted by them in the exercise of their administrative, regulatory or quasi-judicial powers. Thank you.
Dear PCGG, Good day! Thank you for the prompt response to my request. I am surprised by the denial of this request given that PCGG had, in the past, been open to the public the list of inventory of the more renowned and more expensive items seized from the Marcoses namely: 1. The Roumeliotes Collection 2. The Hawaii Collection 3. The Malacanang Collection Your good office also published a database of paintings from Old Masters purchased by Mrs. Marcos along with its status - sequestered, missing, or sold. What makes the list of inventory of items in the Santo Nino Shrine different from the ones listed above? I would like to ask for your reconsideration. I hope that while my request is denied pending reconsideration, the remaining items in the Shrine will be restored, rehabilitated, and be returned to public view under a private concessionaire with more resources to allocate for its presevation. As a Taclobanon and Waraynon, the Shrine remains an important landmark and is part of the history and narrative of the City and this country. Thank you very much! Sincerely yours, LEO CHRISTIAN V.
